Churches changing to accommodate people do not have to accommodate their sin as well. Some modern changes in the church are Biblical, while most are allowing in heresies. The plumbline, or guide to hold the structure together, is the Bible, in making sure that changes in the church line up with scripture. We are not to change the theology to now accept sin, not adding to, nor taking away from the Word Of God, Revelation 22:18-19.
Changes in the church we have seen in modern times range from what clothing style is acceptable, to extreme changes that leave out God's law concerning homosexuality, and divorce. The church needs to ensure that all changes line up with the Word Of God, making scripture the plumbline, or dividing line, as to what will, and will not, be allowed.
